My version of this Hot Cocoa theme is to showcase the color -- Cocoa. If you have not noticed, I am a shabby chic (or messy Shirley) kinda gal. My card uses Cocoa cardstock, misted with my own homemade glimmer mist (water and a dollop of Create 'n Shade paint) and sanded heavily, burlap ribbon (oh how I love burlap ribbon) and the Whooo's Your Valentine stamp set -- see this stamp set will be needed for more projects, so get yours before they run out.
The card uses a flower cut from Avonlea My Reflections paper, a little Bamboo (chevron border, scallop punch and the owl and 'friends' image from the Whooo's Your Valentine stamp set). I finished up with a little Whooo's Your Valentine heart stamp image using tone on tone (Cocoa) along with a little bling - Mocha Opaques.
I love this card and now who to send it to -- too many friends never enough cards. Please hop on over to the Heart2Heart Challenge Blog and play along
